The Greatest Show on Earth

I know it's been way too long... Sorry!! We took the girls to the circus on Saturday. This was one of those little things that would make me depressed when we were struggling with infertility. I would see the commercials on TV and think would I ever get to take my kids there? So, I made Jeff take me one year as you can imagine he was more than thrilled and I haven't heard the end of it to this day!!

So, we have kids now and WE ARE GOING!!!!!!!!!!! The girls had a great time. They loved the horses and the elephants. Kaiden sat super still and watched almost everything. Kenedi on the other hand, God love her, was constantly moving. Not so much that she was distracting anyone just moving!! Kaiden also decided she wanted popcorn. Not sure how she knew what it was but she would YELL please when she saw the stripped box and would try to pick it up off the group whenever she saw some. So, I justified that purchase by telling myself that every other mother at the circus had to be breaking some cardinal parenting rule so why not us!! (Now that I think back I'm pretty sure I can thank my Uncle Johnny for the popcorn because he was sneaking it to them at the zoo on Mother's Day). How do they remember EVERYTHING?

Enjoy the pics!!

Zack's in charge of the girls in line!!

Mommy and her girls checking out the elephants.

What a view... it's nice to have a ginormous daddy!! Isn't it Kaiden?

Hanging out on the elephant platform!!

Very serious Circus watching baby!!

Not so serious but super cute!!

A girl and her popcorn... parents of the year!!

Intermission was their favorite part. We found an empty section where they could run around and chase Daddy. They were laughing so hard. The security guard like his entertainment!!

Happy 4th of July!!

The girls attended their second 4th of July parade this morning. We walked with The Woodlands Mother's of Multiples group. We had 8 sets of twins, 3 sets of triplets and 1 set of quads plus some singleton siblings!! We were so lucky that the weather held out for us it was perfect!!

Getting ready for the parade...

Our wagon decorations won us second place (within our group)!! YEAH!!

We ended up pulling an empty wagon and carrying the girls because they were getting mad because their feet were touching. (She's touching me... something like that!) That led to pulling on each other's dresses and biting attempts.

But we had fun as usual. And it started raining as soon as we closed the doors on the van to drive home!!

What every 18 month little girl needs............

A "bee bee toader" as Kaiden calls it!! Sometimes as we all know the babies start crying when they are in their stroller too long. So, sometimes they need a kiss...........

Even if they are upside down!!

You also have to check on them every now and then. There are two ways to do this... One is to walk around to the front and make sure all is OK...

Or you can just tip them backwards and save yourself a couple of steps!!

Happy Birthday to Me!!

Christopher, Candace, Holly, Zach, Hannah, Kenedi and Kaiden took me to Ranchero's for dinner to celebrate the big 3-0. (All of the daddy's work to much these days. Right Holly?) The food was yummy as always. I think we all ate waaay to much!! (As you can see Kaiden's shirt wouldn't even go over her belly.) Just kidding... Uncle Christopher didn't do the mandatory wardrobe adjustments that all us girls know to do before a photo op. Thanks again Holly you rock. A special thanks for my facial!! You shouldn't have!
